JK2 is a privately owned WA corporation that was started in 1976 by Jim Kearney, under the name of JK Associates. Since inception, JK2 has always strived to provide in-depth product knowledge, and professional customer service while building ongoing client relationships - in our 5th decade we are still guided by these principals. It is our goal to be a leader in contract furniture in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Hawaii and Alaska. We understand that in today’s work, learning & healing environments, most spaces can’t afford to serve a single purpose.

Jim started JK Associates in 1976 shortly after relocating from the East Coast. He has been in the contract furniture world ever since. Jim’s knowledge and expertise makes him a great resource and sounding board. Some would even say a historian!

He greatly enjoys traveling JK2’s 6 state territory and visiting his longtime clients and friends. When he isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his wife and family in Seattle and Boise, and making plenty of time for golf –his lifelong passion.

Shannon rejoined the team in 2015 after taking time to raise her young family. Shannon has years of experience in business development, marketing, strategic planning, and client relations - she also brings a refreshing vigor and enthusiasm to JK2.

Shannon’s skills combined with her warm and friendly personality make her an integral part of the team. In her free time you can find her with her family and friends, cheering for her kids on the sideline, and on the tennis court.

Lady the Office Dog

Lady is part of the JK2 family! She likes to make her presence known in the industry. She is bouncy and full of energy - you might hear her friendly hello bark. Like us, she gets excited about meeting new people.

Angie Covey Moawad

Angie joined the JK2 team in January 2023. She comes with many years of experience from the dealership side of our industry.

Her background includes customer service, managing large account teams, sales and marketing. She grew up in the industry and you could say furniture is in her DNA. Angie’s new perspective & friendly personality is a great addition to our team.

Away from work, she is either cheering on her kid’s basketball teams, playing tennis, yoga, hiking or spending time with her beloved dog Jayda.
